Chelan McCallion

Chelan McCallion, M.A., is an assistant professor at Mount Royal University. She has worked in the human services sector for over 17 years in a variety of capacities, focusing most of her career on the complexities of young adults leaving therapeutic campus-based settings, youth transition to adulthood, and vocational programming. Her research focuses on decolonized mental health interventions, and her teaching incorporates alternative assessment models, including labor-based grading.
